Yoga for the Menopause

Michelle Nicklin SYT & Founder of Sandstone Yoga & Pilates has developed this specialised series on the menopause & perimenopause.

Whether you are experiencing the changes or are interested in learning how the varied practices of yoga can help through this challenging life stage, then this is for you!

The menopause is all about staying cool, calm & collected. During this series we will explore the changes a woman’s body goes through & how a specifically tailored yoga practice can support our physical & mental wellbeing during the changes. Learn to cope with:

* mood swings & hormonal shifts

* hot flushes

* anxiety & irritability

* fatigue & insomnia

This series includes:

  • Introduction & setup
  • Lecture on the menopause
  • 5 physical yoga practices (take one at a time)
  • 3 breathing exercises
  • Meditation for menopause
  • Deep Relaxation (Yoga Nidra)

All welcome, no previous experience necessary.

Yoga Teachers: This also counts 2.5 hours for teachers working towards the Sandstone 500 as you will pick up tips for your classes.
